"What Clients Say..." "...While we were going through the challenging and emotional chapter of wondering what was wrong with our son, Amy was a steady rock and brought us back down to reality...Amy empowered us to feel confident. Where the first half of the school year was filled with anxiety, notes home and a feeling of parenting failure, this second half has been replaced with joy, pride in our son and a love of learning back in his actions and words. We are grateful for Amy's help and reassurance on our parenting instinct. We would (and have!) recommended her whole-heartedly to any parent..." - Carrie, LNL client

Help for the Helpers: Understanding Self Concept to Ensure Self Care This half-day workshop targets any individual in a helping profession, teacher, advocate, caregiver, or counselor. Participants learn which factors lead to the concept of self that called them into service. Familial roles and relationships as well as friendly roles, who you are in a group of peers, are also highlighted. The path towards burnout is illustrated as a byproduct of unmanaged stress in the wake of a poor self-concept. Participants will learn “behavioral band-aids” to use to manage difficult times in order to re-engage in helping others.
